What is PEMF?

PEMF Therapy is a way to recharge every cell in your body so your cells are better able to take in nutrients, eliminate waste and toxins, and function optimally to help maintain an optimally healthy body. The number one sign that your cells need energy support is pain. We all know that pain can get our attention…it’s our body’s cry for help telling us something is wrong. Other signs include dis-ease, weakness, reduced or abnormal function of any body part, and emotional imbalances.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field technology (“PEMF”) is a wellness modality with a variety of benefits. While the concept seems modern, the use of electromagnetic fields for wellness actually dates back to the 19th century with Nikola Tesla, and has a rich history of scientific discovery

“Our entire biological system, the brain, and the earth itself work on the same frequencies.” - Nikola Tesla

PEMF systems utilize sophisticated generators and a variety of application accessories to introduce electromagnetic fields (note: this is not an electric current), through the clothing and skin, and into the body.

The pulsing field introduces an electromagnetic charge to the cells, stimulating and exercising them. The cells use the supplemental energy from PEMF to better perform their many jobs—relaxing the body to assist with muscle fatigue, providing full-body energy, and enhancing the natural recovery process.

PEMF capitalizes on the intelligence and holistic nature of the body. Rather than treating or addressing injuries or illnesses, PEMF provides a Raw material (electromagnetic energy!) crucial to the body’s ability to heal and regulate itself.

It’s because of LIGHTNING that the earth is able to sustain life.

It’s because of ELECTRICAL CHARGES that the body is able to heal itself.

Harold Saxton Burr, Ph.D. (1932-1956) Professor of Anatomy at Yale University School of Medicine

Measurable imbalances in the electrical field of the body precede the onset of degeneration. Correcting the electrical imbalance has proven to be effective in helping the body to repair itself.

PEMF & THE BODY

Our bodies are amazing factories of “HEALING and REGENERATION” or “H&R”! When we get a cut, we don’t wonder if our bodies will heal and regenerate; we put on a band-aid and, when we look again, that cut is healed. Sometimes we get an injury that our H&R factory repairs to about 80%, and it plagues us with scar tissue or pain. Why is that? There are many factors that can tie into that answer but, at a foundational level, our H&R factory didn’t have enough energy to repair itself back to 100%.

PEMF is an outside energy source that infuses the body with the energy it needs to Heal & Regenerate (H&R) itself. So, maybe your body will use that energy to H&R itself, enhance the body’s natural recovery process, assist with muscle fatigue and discomfort after exercise, support relaxation, or increase your energy, balancing the body’s systems. That’s why research on PEMF is ever-expanding. We may not know what each individual response will be, but we know that decades of research show that the body utilizes PEMF to keep the H&R factory working optimally.

The earth’s electromagnetic field (EMF) is safe and beneficial, and just like it, PEMF is safe and beneficial for us. However, the ever-increasing modern technology of mobile phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, computers, and hightension wires produce an EMF at an extreme level that bombards every cell in our body with damaging energy.

Think of each of the 100 Trillion cells in our body as little batteries that can hold a charge and only so much energy. As you use the batteries, you’re expending energy, and depending on what the batteries are used for and how long they are used, will determine how long that charge lasts. We all know that a brand new cell phone with a fresh battery can last a long time even when using the phone all the time and for a lot of different things. But, as you continue using the phone, the battery will eventually start losing energy and will not be able to function as fast and optimally as it did. how long they are used, will determine how long that charge lasts. But, as you continue using the phone, the battery will eventually start losing energy and will not be able to function as fast and optimally as it did.

Once you recharge the cell phone battery to full power, all that energy is stored back in it to gain optimal function again. This is what PEMF does to the 100 Trillion cells in our body, it’s able to recharge them back to optimal levels to allow optimal functioning of the cells and healing of the body. There are countless reasons your cells may not be generating or maintaining enough charge. Some things such as physical injury, mental exhaustion, negative thoughts, toxicity, scar tissue, inflammation, lack of quality sleep and poor nutrition can suck the life out of your cellular batteries and limit your body’s ability to heal and regenerate.

Since every cell in your body needs to hold a charge, every cell in your body can benefit from PEMF!

Classification

PEMF falls into the classification of Integrative Health; a holistic, patient-focused approach to health care and wellness—often including mental, emotional, functional, spiritual, social, and community aspects—and healing the whole person rather than, for example, one illness, organ, or bodily system.

Questions

Will this technology help with a specific medical condition?

PEMF is an energy supplement that optimizes the self-healing and self-regulating function of every cell it interacts with. In its holistic nature, the body uses PEMF as a catalyst for full-body energy and optimized wellness throughout our many systems. The body, in its intelligence, may call attention to “hotspots,” areas of low voltage where the body needs the energy most. Studies show that this process supports relaxation, increases energy, and enhances the natural recovery process.

The FDA started approving PEMF back in 1979 for bone loss (it was even used by NASA when the astronauts returned to Earth to help with the bone loss associated with being weightless for extended periods). The FDA made additional approvals in 1987 for post-operative edema and pain, in 2004 as an adjunct to cervical spine fusion surgery, and 2011 for depression. I’m sure we will see more FDA approvals as more and more research is continually done.

Why isn’t Pulse PEMF FDA approved?

The difference between products that require FDA approval (medical devices) and wellness devices like PEMF is that wellness devices are able to have a comprehensive, complementary effect on the whole body. Rather than addressing injury, illness, or ailments, PEMF provides the body with the raw material (energy) necessary for its own incredible self-healing and self-regulating functions.

Due to the holistic nature of the body, the effects are limitless!

Please share this information with anyone you may know that has a new injury, chronic injury, or pain that hasn’t responded well to other treatments. PEMF Cellular Exercise also holds great promise for those with fatigue, sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression and more.
